This is from my RP, International Rescue: The Next Phase. Thunderbird 7 is a mobile hospital with a tiny surgical unit. It's a hovercraft, roughly the size of an 18-wheeler, and, if necessary, can split into a control cabin and medical cabin. It also has a separate caterpillar trolley, like the Mole. (My original idea was that it ran on caterpillar treads, but when I redesigned it a bit, I made it a hovercraft, which makes it a little more versatile.) In our RP, it rides in its own pod, like Thunderbird 4.

This particular picture was done in Paint, and I would have preferred to make the edges more rounded. The bubbles on top are skylights, as that's the only way I could create them in Paint. I also have a layout of the interior if anyone is interested.

I like this very much. I'm currently working on a project to catalog all the Thunderbird's pod vehicles. I'm also trying to find people who would like their vehicles to be added to the project. May i ask your promision to add Thunderbird 7 to my list?

Yes, you may add Thunderbird 7 to your list. Thanks for asking.

I have layouts of the innards at my RP site. I may post them here as well.

We do have a Thunderbird 8 but no pictures of it. It's a hydrofoil.

Its cool, i don't know if its versatile enough to have "Thunderbird status" but i like the idea of a swappable trolly :)

Thanks for the compliments! In our RP, it goes out on a lot of rescues, and one of our PCs, a doctor who has married into the family, is the physician. It can be used over both snow cover (hovercraft or trolley) and over water (as a hover craft), and can carry over a dozen patients. When you consider the limitations of something like Thunderbird Four (don't get me wrong; I love the water bird, but its size limits the number of people it can rescue at one time from, say, a sunken submarine), then why shouldn't something like this have Thunderbird status?

In fact, the first rescue we describe in the RP deals with this very thing: they're trying to rescue a damaged tourist sub that went off course and ended up trapped. Gordon can only bring injured personnel up a few at a time to where the mobile medical unit is hovering on the water.
